Lumis 150 VPAP ST-A is a non-invasive ventilator with alarms, designed for non-dependent patients suffering from obstructive or restrictive respiratory conditions. It features ResMed’s unique volume-assurance mode – iVAPS (intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support), which maintains target alveolar ventilation tailored to the patient’s changing needs. The device supports multiple ventilation modes including CPAP, S, T, ST, PAC, and iVAPS with iBR (intelligent Backup Rate) and optional AutoEPAP. It allows customization of key parameters such as IPAP, EPAP, respiratory rate, and tidal volume targets. Additionally, This device helps manage chronic respiratory conditions by delivering precise and adaptive therapy, and includes wireless connectivity to AirView™ for remote monitoring.
Lumis 150 works on the principle of intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support (iVAPS), which automatically adapts to the patient’s breathing requires by maintaining target alveolar ventilation.
